Bio:
Erik Hansen (1916–1982) was a Danish engineer and designer best known for the iconic scissor wall lamp he created for Le Klint in 1952. Designed to provide a practical and highly adaptable lighting solution for the home, the lamp was developed in collaboration with Jan Klint. In addition to the scissor lamp, Hansen also designed the Le Klint models 332 and 335. His functional and timeless approach has made the scissor lamp one of the enduring classics of Danish lighting design.
