Tapio Wirkkala (1915–1985) was one of Finlands most influential designers, celebrated for his work in glass, silver and porcelain. His Polygon series for Rosenthal Studio-Linie is distinguished by its faceted geometric forms and refined nature-inspired decoration, combining Scandinavian design with exceptional German porcelain craftsmanship. Today the series remains highly sought after by collectors of twentieth-century design.
