Bio:
Hyonsun Rhee, born in Tokyo in 1938 to South Korean parents, studied ceramics at Kyoto College of Art in Japan during the late 1950s. He held his first exhibition in Tokyo in 1961 and moved to Stockholm the following year, where he continued his studies at Konstfack. His ceramic work is characterised by a combination of Scandinavian modernism and his Asian artistic background.
