Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was one of Scandinavia's most influential ceramic artists and designers. He served as artistic director at Rörstrand from 1931, creating many of the factory's most celebrated stoneware designs. Nylund is especially renowned for his organic forms and sophisticated glaze techniques, making his work highly sought after by collectors today.
