CH25 armchair designed by Hans J. Wegner, made of patinated solid oak with a woven seat and back. The visible wooden construction and extensive weaving are characteristic of Danish furniture design.

Hans J. Wegner (1914–2007) trained as a cabinetmaker before becoming a furniture designer. During his career, he created more than 500 chairs and became a central figure in Danish modernism. His work focused on wood, traditional craftsmanship and functional construction. Through collaborations with Danish manufacturers, Wegner’s furniture became internationally recognised and helped establish Danish Modern around the world.
