Bio:
Erika Lagerbielke (b. 1960) is a Swedish glass designer who studied industrial design at Konstfack in Stockholm. She began her collaboration with Orrefors in 1982 and achieved her major breakthrough with the Intermezzo collection in 1984. Lagerbielke is known for an elegant and sensual design language combined with a strong understanding of the optical and functional qualities of glass. She has received several major design awards and has been a prominent figure in Swedish glass design for decades.
