Bio:
Guy Roussille (1944–2023) was a French painter and printmaker closely associated with Surrealism. He moved to Paris in the early 1960s, where his work attracted the attention and encouragement of Édouard Jaguer and COBRA artist Corneille. In 1973 he joined the international Phases movement and subsequently participated in its exhibitions in Paris, Brussels, Toronto, Lisbon and elsewhere. Roussille worked across painting, drawing and printmaking, developing a colourful, poetic and surrealist visual language. His graphic output included numerous lithographs, and his works are represented in French and international museum collections.
