Antique mahogany secretary desk from the 19th century with a fold-down writing surface, green writing insert and fitted interior with small drawers and compartments. The upper section provides additional storage, while the lower cabinet is fitted with two panelled doors.
The richly figured mahogany front, moulded details and symmetrical construction give the piece a strong 19th-century period character. The fall front opens to create a practical writing surface.
