Bio:
Louis Vuitton was founded in Paris in 1854 by Louis Vuitton (1821–1892). The company began as a maker of travel trunks and later developed into an international luxury house. The distinctive monogram featuring the LV initials and geometric floral motifs was introduced in 1896 by Georges Vuitton as a tribute to his father and has since become one of the house’s most recognisable signatures.
