Beautiful 1800s chandelier from France.
The chandelier has 8 arms for candles which are all decorated with rocailles and foliage.
Its center is a large white opaline bowl, where a stem is fitted with a screen to reflect the light from the candles. This is surrounded by gilded metal in the form of acanthus leaves. Under the bowl is mounted a large bottom ball in brass.
2 small sockets are mounted in the opaline bowl, which has been given new wires.
The lamp is in good condition with old holes from a mounting of wires and sockets in the arms.
