Royal Copenhagen - The Colonial Coffee Service produced in connection with USA's 200th year anniversary of independence, 4 July 1976. With handmade mahogany chest with loose base. Interior lined with pale green silk and braid. Box contains a coffeepot with strutting handle and four cups and saucers, as well as tray, sugar bowl and cream jug. All painted in anthracite grey and plated with 24 kt gold. The motifs are silhouettes of USA's nine leading figures in connection with the Declaration of Independence in 1775. The set was produced in an edition of 300. Leather-bound certificate included from Royal Copenhagen. The first set was given to the US president. Key and brass plaque for name included. Box with stand, h. 66. w. 42. d. 32 cm. Porcelain pieces, 12 in total.
Key and sign is missing.
The interior is not worn. But not perfect due to age
