An extremely rare ensemble by Christian Fjerdingstad for the famous French silversmith Christofle in his renown ‘Laos’ pattern, created for the 1937 Universal Exhibition in Paris. Plated silver.|
The set consists of a round bowl – known as a porridger and a slanted bowl spoon in a silk lined, gold-colored Christofle presentation box.
Very good original condition.
Marked : ‘Christofle’ with the ‘O.C’ hallmark for Orfèvrerie Christofle.
Measures : Bowl 17 cm. in diameter. Spoon 14,5 cm. long.
