Venus was designed by Per Lütken in 1982 for Holmegaard Glassworks. The series is taken out of production as early as 1990, when it proved too technically difficult to manufacture.
The glass is mouth-blown with a long drawn stem and attached foot with a distinct mollex in between. The foot of the glass is with the a raised part.
The glass is listed as a dessert glass in the catalogues, but can easily be used for champagne.
