Paul Gustav Fischer (July 22, 1860 in Copenhagen - January 5, 1934 in Gentofte) was a Danish painter. Fischer created a career as an artist with motifs from Copenhagen's big city life. He was nicknamed the postcard painter since he primarily portrayed street life and especially women.
