Beautiful wine glass from Holmegaard Glasværk.
The glass appears in the glassworks' catalog from 1853 as being "No. 1"
This glass is with the rare flower decor, the pointed-leafed.
This decor has long been difficult to date as being made at Holmegaard Glasværk, but when "Wine glass No. 12" was found, which is made exclusively at Holmegaard Glasværk with this decor, this fine flower sanding could now certainly be attributed to Holmegaard.
The glass is in good condition with finely cut berries between the pointed leaves.
