Rørbye, Martinus (1803 - 1848): Market in Viborg. Etching .: Signed .: M. Rørbye oinx et fecit. aquaforti. 28.5 x 21 cm. With gold frame. This etching is performed after painting. He was in Viborg from 11 to 14 June 1831, and the subject is discussed in the artist's diary. This etching was distributed to all Art Society members in 1831, after the original painting was distributed that year.
