Set of Six Dining Chairs - Model 42 - Teak - Light Upholstered Fabric with Stripes - Kai Kristiansen - Schou Andersen - 1960s
Great condition
Set of six dining chairs, model 42, designed by Kai Kristiansen and produced by Schou Andersen Møbelfabrik in the 1960s. The chairs are made of solid teak with light upholstered fabric in a striped pattern. Model 42 is known for its tilting back and its light, elegant design, which makes it one of Kristiansen's most sought-after designs. Kai Kristiansen (b. 1929) was trained as a cabinetmaker and studied under Kaare Klint at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, which is evident in his focus on functionality and form.
The chairs appear in very good condition and will be inspected in their own workshop before delivery.
