Mari Simmulson (1911–2000) was an Estonian-Swedish ceramicist and sculptor. Trained in Tallinn, she moved to Sweden in 1944 and joined Upsala Ekeby in 1949. There she became one of the company’s most prolific designers, creating over 200 ceramic series. Her work includes colorful vases, sculptures, and figurines, often inspired by Baltic and Russian folk art. Famous pieces include "Balinesiskan" and "Pojken på sköldpadda". She also completed public art commissions and continued working independently after 1972. She passed away in Uppsala in 2000.
