Irma Yourstone (née Irma Linnéa Claesson; 15 July 1911 – 22 August 1988) was a notable Swedish ceramic artist and designer. She began her career as a decorator at the renowned Rörstrand porcelain factory from around 1928 to 1939. In 1942, she co-founded Yourstone Ceramics in Huddinge, Stockholm, with her husband Henry Yourstone.
In 1959, the Yourstone family moved to Halmstad and renamed the business Lerlaxen, expanding production there. During the late 1960s and early 1970s, Irma also worked as a freelance designer for prestigious Swedish ceramic firms such as Upsala Ekeby, Bo Fajans, Steninge, and Laholm.
Her work is known for its rustic yet modernist aesthetic: matte blue and brown glazes, textured relief wall plates, and mirrors with crystallized glass elements—reflecting the brutalist mid‑century modern style. Irma passed the studio on to her son in 1985 and died in Halmstad in 1988.
