Pertti Santalahti (born 1933) is a Finnish designer and glass artist, best known for his work at Humppila Glassworks during the 1970s and 1980s. His style is characterized by organic shapes, bold colors, and an experimental approach to glass. Santalahti designed several iconic series for Humppila, including vases and bowls made of thick, often bubbled glass, which gained popularity in Finland and abroad. He played a key role in establishing Humppila’s reputation for modern, artistic glassware with a distinct Finnish identity.
