Finnish artist (20th century): A house in a landscape. Watercolor. Signed. 34 x 44 cm.
Framed: 42 x 52 cm.
According to written information on the back of the work, it depicts Poul Reumert's house, early spring.
The watercolor was given by the artist to a Dane who helped the artist bring money to Denmark in the midst of the Winter War in Finland in 1939. After the war, the artist traveled to Denmark, where the two met again - presumably in 1946.
After Reumert, the house was taken over by the actor Henning Mouritzen. The house is located at Råbjerg MIle, close to Kandestederne.
