Colored woodcut divided into three panels. At the top the Three Wise Men with a camel, in the middle the Virgin Mary and Joseph, and at the bottom the Flight into Egypt with Mary riding a donkey. Printed in green and orange tones, creating an iconic and decorative composition.

Bio: Åke Holm (1900–1980) was a Swedish ceramicist and printmaker associated with Höganäs. He produced a wide range of woodcuts and ceramic works with biblical and figurative motifs, executed in a powerful, simple, and iconic style. His works are represented in several Nordic museums and are today highly valued collector’s items.
