Bio:
Illums Bolighus in Copenhagen became renowned in the post-war decades as a showcase for the very best in Danish furniture and applied arts. The store functioned both as a retailer and as a quality stamp for the leading designers and manufacturers of the time, and many of the classic brass candelabra of the 1970s were sold through Illums Bolighus to an international clientele.
