Bio: Berndt Friberg (1899–1981) was a Swedish ceramic artist and master thrower, associated with the Gustavsberg Studio from 1934. He gained renown for his perfectly proportioned forms and innovative glazes in finely nuanced tones, often referred to as “hare’s fur”. Today, Friberg’s works are among the most sought-after pieces of Nordic studio ceramics.
