Bio:
Bertil Vallien (b. 1938) is one of Sweden’s most influential glass artists. He worked extensively at Åfors Glassworks, later integrated into the Kosta Boda group. Vallien is internationally recognized for his sand-cast glass, rich in symbolism and experimental techniques, and his works are represented in major museums and collections worldwide.
