Bio:
Founded in 1775 under the patronage of Queen Juliane Marie, Royal Copenhagen soon became world-renowned for its hand-painted blue porcelain, inspired by East Asian traditions but reinterpreted with a distinctive Danish character. The Blue Fluted pattern remains the factory’s most famous design and a lasting symbol of Danish porcelain artistry.

Bio:
Musselmalet Riflet was introduced in 1775 as Royal Copenhagen’s very first dinner service and remains in production today. Each piece is hand-painted with more than 1,000 brush strokes, making it a true icon of Danish porcelain craftsmanship. In 1885, Arnold Krog modernized the pattern, creating the perfect balance between tradition and timeless elegance that still defines the service.
