Bio:
Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919–2009) was a Swedish designer and lighting architect who founded his company in Markaryd in 1951. He became internationally recognized for his innovative lamps, which combined Scandinavian modernism with a unique approach to atmospheric lighting. His works range from functional metal and wood lamps to his iconic shades in thin wood veneer and brass, which remain highly sought-after collector’s pieces today.
