Bio:
Pierre Fernandez Arman (1928–2005), internationally known as Arman, was born in Nice and worked from the 1960s in both France and the USA. He was one of the founders of Nouveau Réalisme, a movement related to Pop Art, and became especially famous for his “accumulations” and “découpages,” where everyday objects were amassed or destructed and transformed into art. His graphic works convey the same energy and experimental approach.
