Bio
Just Andersen (1884–1943) was a Danish sculptor and designer, renowned for his work in pewter, silver, and his self-developed metal alloy “Disko.” He established his workshop in Copenhagen in 1918 and created a large number of functional and decorative objects with simple, organic forms reflecting Scandinavian modernism. After his death in 1943, the company continued under the name Just, and pewter production remained active during the 1930s and 40s.
