Bio:
Åke Holm (1900–1980) was a Swedish ceramicist and artist based in Höganäs. Although primarily known for his ceramic production, he also created numerous graphic works, especially woodcuts, with strong religious themes inspired by Biblical stories. His works are characterized by a powerful, monumental style, and he is today considered one of the most significant artists of 20th-century Skåne.
