Bio:
Åke Holm (1900–1980) was a Swedish sculptor, ceramicist, and printmaker. Based in Höganäs, he became widely known for his stylized, expressive ceramic sculptures, often with religious themes. His graphic works, including woodcuts, share the same powerful, monumental formal language and are today regarded as important contributions to Swedish modernism.
