A characteristic graphic work by Åke Holm, where the stylised figures and bold contrasts clearly reflect the artist’s expressive visual language. The motif is interpreted as David with the harp facing King Saul on his throne – a classical biblical scene here reduced to monumental, angular forms in dramatic contrast.
