Organic-shaped lidded jug in white porcelain with underglaze blue decoration in the classic “Zwiebelmuster” (onion pattern). The lid is topped with a naturalistically modelled porcelain rose in blue and white.

Bio:
Since the early 18th century, Meissen porcelain has been among the most sought-after in Europe. The characteristic blue onion pattern, “Zwiebelmuster,” was introduced in the mid-18th century and has since become one of the manufactory’s most iconic designs. Pieces from the early 20th century combine classical craftsmanship with high artistic quality, making them desirable collectors’ items today.
