A characteristic scene from the working-class district, where the open square is framed by factory buildings, chimneys, and utility poles. In the foreground, a woman and child emphasize the human presence within the strict architectural surroundings. The work highlights Bendtsen’s ability to capture both everyday life and the urban environment in a poetic manner.
