Wheel-thrown stoneware bowl with organic form, outer glaze in pink/white tones and interior decorated with dark glaze and a triangular brown pattern.

Bio:
Carl-Harry Stålhane was one of the most prominent Swedish ceramicists and designers of the 20th century. As artistic director at Rörstrand, he helped define Scandinavian ceramic tradition, merging functionality with artistic expression. His works are characterized by experimental glazes and a refined sense of form and proportion, making them highly sought after by collectors today.
