Bio:
Founded in 1710, Meissen was Europe’s first porcelain manufactory and became famous for its painted decorations and craftsmanship. The "Indian" design, introduced in the 1740s and inspired by Asian porcelain, quickly became one of Meissen’s most enduring motifs. The "Pink Indian" variation is highly regarded for its refined elegance, and smaller items such as these bowls remain sought-after additions to a complete service.
