Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 under the patronage of Queen Juliane Marie and is internationally renowned for its hand-painted porcelain decorations. The “Saxon Flower” pattern, introduced in the late 18th century, was inspired by botanical engravings. The series quickly became one of the manufactory’s most popular, and the reticulated bowls with applied floral details were among the most decorative items produced during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
