Bio:
Mari Simmulson (1911–2000) was a Swedish-Estonian ceramic artist and one of Upsala-Ekeby’s most important designers of the mid-20th century. She combined vivid colors and geometric patterns with a distinctly modernist aesthetic, making her works iconic examples of Swedish postwar ceramic design.
