Decorative bowl shaped as a leaf with a snail resting on the rim. Glazed in shades of green, brown, and orange with a naturalistic surface texture. A classic nature-inspired work from Ipsens Enke, 1920s.

Bio:
Founded in 1843 in Copenhagen, Ipsens Enke Ceramic Factory became renowned for its nature-inspired figures and bowls with finely modeled details and expressive glazes. During the 1920s, the factory continued its tradition of craftsmanship and romantic naturalism, often combined with the softer, muted tones characteristic of the decade.
