Stoneware with turquoise glaze and inlaid silver decorations, exterior featuring hand-incised female figure and stylised branch motif. Elegant scroll handles in classic Art Deco style.

Bio:
Wilhelm Kåge (1889–1960) served as head designer at Gustavsberg from 1917 and was a major figure in Swedish ceramic modernism. His Argenta series, introduced in the 1930s, combines cool glazes with refined silver inlays and is regarded as a masterpiece of Scandinavian Art Deco.
