Hand-thrown cylindrical stoneware vase with engraved circular relief decoration and a matte grey-blue glaze in earthy tonal variation — characteristic of Andersson’s organic, nature-inspired design language.

Bio:
Olle Alberius (b. 1938) was part of Rörstrand’s innovative 1960s design movement, known for natural materials, tactile surfaces and Nordic modernist aesthetics. The “Sarek” series is named after the Swedish national park and admired for its graphic motifs and raw Scandinavian expression.
