Bio:
Ilse Claesson (1905–1969) was a Swedish ceramicist and designer active at Rörstrand during the 1920s and 30s. Her work reflects the Art Deco and functionalist aesthetics of the era, often featuring geometric motifs and bold contrasts. Today her pieces are prized examples of Rörstrand’s early modernist period.
