Unique bowl, 1970s.
Hand-thrown stoneware bowl on a small foot with flared rim and an experimental multicoloured glaze in shades of pink, blue, lilac and green. A characteristic example of Andersson’s work for Höganäs during the 1970s, combining traditional forms with artistic glaze effects.

Bio:
Johan Andersson was part of the artistic department at Höganäs Keramik in the 1970s, creating unique and limited-edition pieces. Founded in the 1830s, the Höganäs workshop became known for merging industrial production with artistic stoneware. Andersson’s work is distinguished by his experimental glazes and craftsmanship, making his pieces highly sought after by collectors today.
