Sculptural, organically shaped candlestick in black-coated cast iron, executed in Quistgaard’s characteristic modernist idiom. The three tapered legs meet at a unified top with three shallow bowl-shaped holders.

Bio:
Jens Harald Quistgaard (1919–2008) was a major figure in Danish modern design and internationally renowned for his work for Dansk Designs. His cast-iron, teak and steel pieces combine functional clarity with sculptural organic form. His cast-iron works are highly sought-after by collectors today.
