Bio:
Willhelm Kåge (1889–1960) was one of Gustavsberg’s leading designers and created the Argenta series in the 1930s. The series combines rich coloured glazes with decorative silver inlays and is among the most recognisable expressions in Swedish ceramic design. Kåge’s work for Gustavsberg received international acclaim and remains highly collectible today.
