Rolf Palm, Mölle, Sweden – Vase, 1980/90s.
Beautiful hand-thrown unique stoneware vase with a softly rounded form, finished in a subdued, green-tinged celadon glaze with a smooth, even surface. The warm terracotta tone at the foot creates a subtle contrast, characteristic of Palm’s simple and material-focused expression. An elegant example of his more minimal studio work from the period.

Bio:
Rolf Palm (1930–2018) was one of Sweden’s leading studio potters. Working from his workshop in Mölle, he created both rugged, textured pieces and more restrained forms like this one, always with a strong sense of materiality and glaze nuance. His handmade unique works and small-batch production are today highly sought after by collectors.
