Bio:
Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920–1990) was one of Sweden’s most influential ceramicists. After decades at Rörstrand—where he served as chief designer and created many of the factory’s most iconic series—he continued in the 1970s with more artistically free work at Designhuset in Lidköping. Here, he produced unique pieces and small series distinguished by refined forms, experimental glazes, and exceptional material sensitivity, making works from this period especially sought after today.
