Royal Copenhagen – Set of six large deep plates, early 20th century.
Rare deep porcelain plates by Royal Copenhagen featuring a bird and botanical motif (model 550/8107). Each plate has a gilded rim and a refined basket-weave relief along the edge.

Marked and cancelled with one incised line.

Origin: Denmark, Royal Copenhagen.

Condition: Excellent condition with minimal signs of use; gilding with light age-related wear.

Bio:
Royal Copenhagen (founded 1775) is regarded as one of Europe’s leading porcelain manufacturers, known for its hand-painted quality and detailed cobalt and naturalistic motifs. In the early 20th century, the factory explored finely rendered bird and plant decorations, executed by highly skilled painters.
