Two large pitchers, 1930s.
Two large hand-thrown ceramic pitchers in Kähler’s characteristic yellow-orange glaze of the 1930s. Both feature pronounced curved handles and softly cylindrical forms. Classic utilitarian pieces from the period.

Origin: Denmark, Kähler.
Material: Ceramic.
Dimensions: H. 11–21 cm, W. 16–21 cm.
Period: 1930s.
Condition: With old restorations and hairlines; signs of use.

Bio:
Kähler pitchers from the 1930s are noted for their sturdy forms, functional proportions and warm glaze tones. Many of these utilitarian pieces saw daily use, making surviving examples with period patina desirable among collectors today.
Their handcrafted details and distinctive glaze make them fine representatives of Danish ceramic design from the interwar years.
