Bio:
Svend Hammershøi (1873–1948) was one of Kähler’s most influential artists, known especially for his vertically ribbed forms and refined proportions. His works from the 1920s and 30s combine sculptural presence with functional clarity and are today regarded as landmarks of Danish ceramic design.
